Primary Conflict: Scorpia, one of the most dangerous criminal organization, plans to make ridiculous demands and threats on the British to make the president of the US resign, ask for an immense amount of money, force the US not to be the international security of the world anymore, and so on. When the British refuses this, they face the usual terrorist consequences, not the US.
Best Part: The best part was when Alex glided through the sky with a hot air balloon's balloon without any proper equipment. This is cool because firstly, he's at a freakish height. Secondly, there's nothing below him. Lastly, it's almost impossible for a 14-year-old to do this!

I like the best part, especially the end where you say a 14 year old boy just wouldn't be able to do this. Of course, this is true. 14 year olds don't have power over adults, but this is what makes good reading for young men. They fantasize about having the power, and so the author gives it to them. I'm glad you see this.
